Brandon\u00a0is the father of\u00a0a 17-month-old\u00a0daughter.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

What was the moment when you first felt like a father?<\/strong><\/p>\n

When I saw the ultrasound upon learning her gender.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

What’s your favorite part about being a father?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Seeing my daughter smile and say “Daddy.”<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

What’s the hardest part about being a father?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Being away from my wife and daughter on nights I have to work.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

What’s the dumbest\/funniest thing that your kid has cried about or fought with you over?<\/strong><\/p>\n

She wanted milk but in a different colored cup.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

What are you most proud of having taught\/shared with your kids or what are you most looking forward to teaching\/sharing with them?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

We’ve taught her to pray and say “Amen” at the end. I look forward to continue instilling the importance of having a relationship with Jesus Christ.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

What’s your favorite thing about your kids?<\/strong><\/p>\n

She’s full of joy.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

If you could go back in time and give yourself a piece of advice when you first became a father, what would you say?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Sleep and\/or enjoy more of your downtime while she couldn’t do much as a newborn. She’s a ball of energy now!<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Any other comments to share on fatherhood?<\/strong><\/p>\n

From the moment your child is born, you will forever have a sponge in your life, soaking up every word and action, holding you accountable at every turn. Embrace the responsibility of molding this impressionable young life and mind into the great person God intended them to be. Parenting is a beautiful struggle — lots of work, all of which is oh-so-rewarding.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
